Hello World!

So I've wanted to go traveling for a long time at this stage and I finally bit the bullet a few weeks back, said goodbye to the job I loved, packed up my stuff and left Boston behind me.

I've been living in the States for a few years, but there's still a bunch of places I haven't seen, so I figured a road trip was called for. I stuffed my life into the back of the car, strapped a few toys to the roof and hit the road for Colorado.
My home for the month of September!

I'm hoping to spend the snowboarding season in Breckenridge, Colorado (after a few months of getting lost in Central America) so I plan on taking a month to drive to Breckenridge from Boston, doing some kayaking and seeing some sights en route.

The plan for September
Once I make it to Colorado (assuming I make it to Colorado), I'm leaving my stuff with some friends there, hopping on a plane down to Belize and spending 3 months traveling through Central America. I fly out of Colombia at the start of January and really have no plan for the three months in between. I'm pretty sure I'm going to spend the majority of it wandering around totally lost, trying to piece together some broken Spanish. So far I've got 'Una cerveza, por favor', and '¿dónde están mis pantalones?' - I reckon that's enough to survive, right?

From Colombia, I fly back to Colorado and plan on spending the next three months being a professional ski-bum with some friends in Breckenridge. From there I head back to Ireland, and after that who knows...

So that's the plan, let's see if I actually do any of it.
